Eric Hulme a studio photographer for 25 years loves landscape photography. 'We all think of landscapes as mountains, lakes, waterfalls etc, completely natural, a million miles away from the concrete jungle. Photographers produce stunning images that are awe-inspiring, giving you a desire to go and see it for yourself.
However it's not all about vast open spaces on the other side of the world that we can never hope to get to. A beautiful landscape scene could be just around the corner, on a golf course maybe.
Golf courses are a brilliant mixture of natural and man-made landscapes, where the courses designer has worked with the natural features of the land. These features are preserved and maintained to create, not just a place for sport, but also to be viewed, enjoyed and in my case photographed.
My aim is to build a collection of images from as many different golf courses as possible. These can be informative, in other words to give you, the viewer, a good idea of the course, or they can be creative. As a photographer I am always looking for that stunning image that would look great framed and hung on the wall.
I will be constantly adding to this website as I build up my collection, it is very time consuming, especially with the great British weather, but if you like what you see please visit again soon".
